Voice and Guitar Lessons

I have been teaching voice and guitar for years, and love it. If someone wants to sing better, or is preparing for an audition, or wants to learn guitar chords, or fingerstyle playing, or how to fingerpick and sing at the same time, that's what I do.

It's tough, then, when I hear parents say, "I'd really like to have my son/ daughter take lessons, but I can't afford them right now."

With all the layoffs happening these days, I have had students have to quit because they simply cant afford lessons any longer. I don't think it's right for me to turn people away because they can't afford it.

Right now, I only charge $15 for a half hour lesson. With a donation of $15, I could do things like give a potential student a free lesson, so they can get a sample of how I teach. Or, I can give someone an extra lesson, so they can get ready for an important audition or performance.

If you've ever had a private lesson, you know how important a teacher can be. You know how important the lessons become, or how influential they are on your musical life/career.
